The Whala Boca Chica Resort Hotel
is a tourist complex with 5 buildings with 3 levels and 4 modern
buildings of 4 levels. It has a total of 224 rooms with 368 beds
queen type which 157 are standard and 67 superior rooms, with
two double beds in the Captains Club, an exclusive area of the
hotel. The first building was built in 1986 and, like the
buildings of the 80s, it is a modern structure. The size of the
rooms are rather large and very well equipped. All have air
conditioning, direct dial telephone for overseas calls, cable
television, hairdryer, coffee maker and minibar. At the
customer's request, a freezer can be provided free of charge.
They also have a bubble bath (jacuzzi in the superior rooms).
Room service offers cold, hot and full meals for breakfast lunch
and dinner dishes.

The Whala Boca Chica Resort offers several
gastronomic options to complete a beautiful holiday. The All
Inclusive includes selected facility, unlimited domestic
alcoholic beverages weekly, natural juices and soft drinks,
snacks and a la carte dinner at the Gourmet Restaurant served
with daily activities programs, plus meals at La Yola Restaurant
until 2:00 A.M. The Whala Boca Chica Resort hotel has three restaurants. The
Coral is the main restaurant and has an enclosed air-conditioned
area and a large terrace with outdoor portion located between
the lobby and the first pool. International, local and themed
cuisine is served as a buffet. The latter is different every
night. The Italian restaurant La Caleta, located near the pool
is a wooden house with cozy tropical colors and offers a la
carte menu. A cafeteria is open from 12:00 to 15:00. Four bars
open until two in the morning. The beach, a large hut at the end
of the platform on stilts, is very welcoming.

Whala Boca Chica Resort has five three-story
buildings, and four modern four-story buildings. With a total of
224 rooms with 368 queen size beds and 40 sofa beds. All rooms
have electronic card lock, air conditioning, queen size beds,
cable with 45 channels TV, direct dial telephones, room safe,
private bath with tub (except the Captain's Club having Swirls).
Non-smoking rooms for all categories of room types. Cots and

two, internal closets, balconies and whirlpool tubs , Scale,
hair dryer and bathrobe. There are nine connecting rooms. Six of
them overlooking the garden are rooms decorated with bright
tropical colors and a separate entrance. The eighteen Ocean View
have an exclusive hallway for the Captain's Club, decorated in
pastel colors to reflect the tranquility and a beautiful balcony
facing the landscape of white sand and clear turquoise blue
water of the Caribbean Sea.
Superior Villas
137 rooms in the traditional style of the ancient
fishermen of the Caribbean, provide rustic intimacy with ocean
view and surrounding tropical gardens, spacious rooms with air
conditioning with two beds, ceiling fan, wooden rocking chair.

The beach at Boca Chica at Whala Boca Chica Resort, is amazing. Its waters make up an area of one and a half kilometers wide, approximately 400 meters along, is a reef that protrudes from the water and that has the form of a giant half circle, extending from one end of the beach to the other . The reef covers the entire surface of the bay, constituting a protection and a giant natural saltwater pool, whose depth is maximum of less than one meter. The reef acts as a natural barrier for the Caribbean Sea, in such a way that the waters are very calm. Inside the reef, the water is clear, filtered and fed by a number of natural underground sources. The so beautiful and different views are due to this "swimming in the sea". You will see the dark blue sky of the Caribbean sea beyond the reef that contrasts with the shallow bay where the inks go from deep blue to intense turquoise, depending on the position of the sun.
