The Boca Chica beach is amazing. Its waters make up an area of one and a half kilometers wide, approximately 400 meters along, is a reef that protrudes from the water and that has the form of a giant half circle, extending from one end of the beach to the other . The reef covers the entire surface of the bay, constituting a protection and a giant natural saltwater pool, whose depth is maximum of less than one meter. The reef acts as a natural barrier for the Caribbean Sea, in such a way that the waters are very calm. Inside the reef, the water is clear, filtered and fed by a number of natural underground sources. The so beautiful and different views are due to this "swimming in the sea". You will see the dark blue sky of the Caribbean sea beyond the reef that contrasts with the shallow bay where the inks go from deep blue to intense turquoise, depending on the position of the sun.
