Unsurprisingly, Golf is
becoming an increasingly popular pastime
to enjoy during holidays, and is not
only a relaxing experience but also a
healthy one. This sport offers you the
chance to take in the great outdoors and
experience magical sunsets in a natural
setting while you play a round or two of
golf.
The golf course was
designed by renowned architect P.B. Dye
who personally supervised and oversaw
the entire process. The course was
completed and opened in December 2010
for hotel guests and the general public
alike.
The championship golf
course crosses a lush mangrove forest,
with 25 inland lakes and 122
strategically placed bunkers. The design
makes the most of the natural
surroundings of Bavaro and the fairways
